Club Support Workshop – Wednesday 19 March 2014, 7pm-9pm at Leodiensian Club, King Lane, LS17 5PR
We don’t have a formal agenda, but see Lucy’s information below.
I was thinking about keeping it quite open and basing it on Club Accreditation and introducing elements of the Whole Club Development.
‘Accredited Club’ status forms part of the only national cross sports quality accreditation scheme, ‘Clubmark’
It is built around a set of core criteria which ensure that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards
Achieving ‘Accredited Club’ status will ensure your club is nationally recognised as providing an ‘active, accessible and accredited’ club environment.
Club Accreditation is available to all affiliated clubs and benefits both junior and adult only clubs
Identify future requirements for your club’s success
Understand the means to address issues
So we’ll have a general objective to learn what is required to obtain “accredited club” status but we can discuss the components in as much (or as little) detail as required.
We’ll also have an open discussion at the end to discuss anything that concerns you with the administration aspects of your club. One topic on the agenda for this section is the “Club Secretaries’ Portal” i.e the membership database.
